What Does “Import State” Mean in Bloomz?
If you're managing your classrooms or school community in Bloomz and come across the tag “Imported,” you might wonder what that actually means. Don’t worry—we’re here to make it simple!
When a parent, student, or staff member is brought into Bloomz—either:
they don’t automatically become active in the platform. Instead, if invitations are turned off in your settings (which is common when you're prepping things behind the scenes), those users will stay in what we call an “Imported State.”
When someone is in Import State, here’s what’s happening:
This is intentional—it gives schools control over when and how members are invited, especially during onboarding phases.
